Cairns finishes on top of the Under 12 NQJBC medal tally with three Gold and one silver from all four age groups and Divisions 1 and 2.
Medals were presented at the last round of the NQJBC held in Townsville where we also introduced third teams, the Pearls (girls) and the Sharks (boys) into Division 3. There were no medals for the Division 3 teams as this was the only round.
Congratulation to all teams who have performed outstandingly throughout the three rounds of NQJBC. Special mention to the Corals who finished the first tournament in Mackay without a win and turned this around to finish with the Silver.
All teams now head to the Under 12 State Championships held at Northside Wizards (Brisbane) from 22 to 25 September.
